1、工夫和功夫
現在高考特別強調以能力立意命題，注意對學生理論聯系實際和創新意識的考查。由此，同學們的功夫要想達到高考所需要的高度，單純地靠拼時間、搞題海、死記硬背等做法已不適應新的考試要求。所以，同學們不能只以學了多長時間為目的，而是要看有多少是有效時間，更要看是否在能力上有所提高。

2、做題和寫題
同學們每天都忙于做題，但往往只重數量卻忽視了質量，只關注會做不會做、結果對不對，卻忽視了其他更加重要的，比如書寫、思路的總結。
書寫規范也是思維能力和邏輯推理能力的體現，對提高理性解題能力非常有幫助。由于同學們使用的教輔資料預留書寫空間太少，要盡量主動選擇一些題目規規矩矩書寫解答過程。建議每科自備一個“好題本”，將經典題目及其解答過程規范書寫下來，并經常翻看此本，定會受益匪淺。
平時還要多看一些有詳盡解答過程的例題。先獨立念題、審題、分析，找出解題路徑，然后和答案對照。對一些典型例題不能只滿足于看明白，要獨立默寫出解答過程，這樣既可以培養書寫能力又可培養對題目背景深刻理解的能力，還是檢驗是否真會的有效措施。
3、聽明白和想明白
許多同學常苦惱于課上聽老師講得很明白，可一到自己做題怎么就不會了呢？事實上，聽得明白是你在老師一步一步的引領下明白的，這并不是你自己真實能力的體現，更不代表你已經具備了解決這些問題的能力。因此，要想提高分析問題解決問題的能力，就必須在“聽明白”的基礎上進一步去“想明白”。“聽明白”只能說你被別人說服了，而“想明白”是自己說服自己，是真正弄明白，想明白更是對基礎知識和基本技能進行加工、濃縮、提煉、升華，形成綜合能力的關鍵。所以，課上要積極思考，課下要及時再想一想。
