Great young stars make Chinese people proud，like Yao Ming in the NBA and Liu Xiang in track and field．Now maybe we can add one more name：Ding junhui．
The young player has become China's hero at snooker（斯諾克）．
Two days after his 18th birthday，Ding reached the top of the 2005 World Snooker China Open．He's the second youngest ever to win a world ranking title! In the final，Ding beat the world champion 9-5．
“I saw him on TV，”said Liu Yatian，a junior girl in Beijing．“He had a strong mind，faced the bad times in the games well and kept a cool face all the time!”

Will it matter if you don't have your breakfast? A short time ago，a test was given in the U.S．People of different ages，from 12 to 83，were asked to have a test．During the test，these people were given all kinds of breakfasts，and sometimes they got no breakfast at all．Scientists wanted to see how well their bodies worked when they had eaten different kinds of breakfasts．

Put an ice cube（冰塊）from your fridge into a glass of water．You have a piece of String of 10 centimeters（公分）long．The task is to take out that piece of ice with the help of the string，but you must not touch（接觸）the ice with your fingers．
You may ask your friends to try doing that when you are having dinner together．There is a saltcellar（鹽瓶）on the table．You must use salt when you do this experiment．
First you put the string across the piece of ice．Then put some salt on the ice．Salt makes ice melt（融化）．The ice round the string will begin to melt．But when it melts，it will absorb（吸收）heat．The cold ice cube will make the salt water freeze（結冰）again．
