In 1826, a Frenchman named Niepce needed pictures for his business. But he was not a good artist, so he invented a very simple camera. He put it in a window of his house and took a picture of his garden. That was the first photo.
The next important date in the history of photography （攝影）was in 1837. That year, Daguerre, another Frenchman, took a picture of his reading room. He used a new kind of camera in a different way. We moved to a new area when our son was in Grade Five．Before we moved，we took him to spend half a day at his new school．There he saw his new classmates and teachers．He enjoyed the visit．During the almost l50-kilometer drive home，he told US that he had told some of the students the date when we would move there．And he had also invited them to visit us.

When you cut your skin, you bleed（流血）. If a person loses a lot of blood, he will become ill and may die．Blood is very important. People have always known that．At one time, some people even drank blood to make them strong!
