One sunny afternoon, a man was sitting on the sofa, drinking a beer, while watching a baseball game. A little boy rushed into the house exclaiming, "Daddy, show me how to play catch!" The father, blankly staring at the TV, replied, "Come back in five minutes, son! Let me finish watching this inning (一局)."
"Okay, Daddy," said the boy. Five minutes later, the boy returned, "Daddy, let's play catch now!"
The father said, "The inning is not quite over and come back in five more minutes."
Five minutes later, the boy returned with ball and glove in hand eagerly. "Daddy, let's go!" shouted the boy.
By this time, the father had opened another beer and another inning was beginning. A little angry, he looked around. Suddenly he noticed a magazine cover—a large picture of the world. The father began tearing the magazine cover into small pieces. Then, he said, "Son, once you put this picture of the world back together, we can play catch. But don't interrupt (打擾) me again until you are done!"
A few moments later, the boy returned, "I'm done, Daddy! Can we play catch now?"
Stunned, the father glanced towards his child, and there in his small hands laid the magazine with the world pieced perfectly together. Amazed, the dad asked his child how he put the world together so quickly.
"It was simple!" stated the boy. "On the back of the world was a picture of a person, and once I put the person together, that's when the world came together."
